Here are some useful English sentences, phrases or structures (you name it) that I usually use in my daily standup as well as presenting features with people leaders:

1. Opening the conversation:
Hi, [Manager's name]. How are you doing today?
Thanks for meeting with me today.
It's good to see you again.

2. Discussing progress on tasks:
I've made some good progress on [task/project] since our last meeting.
I've encountered some challenges with [task/project], but I'm working on resolving them.
I'm on track to complete [task/project] by the deadline.

3. Asking for feedback:
Can you give me some feedback on how I'm doing with [skill/task]?
Is there anything specific you'd like me to focus on improving?
I'm open to suggestions on how to improve my [skill/task]. Do you have any advice?

4. Addressing concerns:
I wanted to discuss an issue I've been having with [problem/task]. Can you help me with this?
I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with my workload. Can we discuss how to manage my tasks better?
I'm concerned about [issue/problem]. Can you provide some guidance on how to handle this?

5. Closing the conversation:
Thanks for your time today.
I appreciate your feedback and guidance.
